Today’s Bride Commissions a Photo Shoot with a Rustic-to-Lavish Theme

A collaborative effort transforms rustic to lavish for an extravagant wedding look

Violetta Flowers was proud to be included when Today’s Bride Magazine commissioned a team of award-winning event professionals to stage a photo shoot illustrating the potential for elevating a wedding look from rustic to lavish. Small touches – premium linens, mercury glass vases and tabletop lanterns, glass bud vases and wooden box urns – took this wedding table décor from mundane to spectacular.

We substituted local seasonal flowers for more elegant phalenopsis orchids and yellow hyacinths, David Austen roses in yellow and peach, peach ranunculuses and whimsical trailing jasmine. We wanted to demonstrate how small investments can completely transform a floral event design and create a distinctive, inspired look.

We all understand that budgeting for a wedding is a challenge, and we can certainly work within a conservative budget, but we also know how much difference a small touch here and there can make. This was a wonderful exercise in wedding décor thinking outside of the box – and with just a slightly higher budget.
