Commissioned Photo Shoot at the Luxurious St. Regis Hotel

Creating a tropical oasis in an urban setting for a contemporary celebration

The objective here was to create a tropical, exotic, verdant party setting in the heart of a world class city, within the elegantly conservative confines of the St. Regis Hotel. We wanted a casual feeling, elegant but relaxed. Think warm island breezes and a cool sandy beach underfoot.

To create these lush floral arrangements, we took advantage of the wide spectrum of unusual plant material available at the San Francisco Flower Mart, including an assortment of succulents, cymbidium orchids, fiddlehead ferns, microphone protea, giant philodendrons, hypericum berry, gloriosa lilies, river rocks and moss.

Working under the direction of MB Wedding Design & Events, Violetta Flowers collaborated with Blue Water Party Rentals to create this rich, luxurious tropical oasis, captured here by Arrowood Photography.
